Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect through the Kyanorama Villa website, how we use it and what your rights are, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
The data controller is the owner of Kyanorama Villa (Arkadio, Tragaki 291 00, Zakynthos, Greece). For any matter concerning your personal data you can contact us at kyanoramavilla@gmail.com.
What data we collect
When you submit a booking request we collect the details you enter in the form: full name, email address, phone number, number of guests, stay dates and any comments. We do not collect anything beyond what is necessary to handle your booking.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to manage and confirm your booking, to communicate with you about your stay, and to comply with our legal (tax and other) obligations. We do not use your details for marketing purposes and we never sell them to third parties.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, a certified payment service provider. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure environment and are never stored on our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy) for more.
Service providers
To operate the booking system we work with the following providers, who process data on our behalf: Beds24 (booking management and availability sync with Airbnb and Booking.com), Supabase (secure storage of booking records) and Stripe (payments). Each provider is bound by its own data protection terms.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only technically necessary cookies may be used for the site to function, along with Stripe cookies during checkout for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
Data retention
We keep your booking data for as long as needed to service your stay, and afterwards for as long as our tax and other legal obligations require. Once these periods expire, the data is deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, as well as the right to restrict or object to its processing. To exercise your rights, contact us at kyanoramavilla@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
